In reply to: Lost Homepage MenuThanks, but there is no “Theme Locations” tab in WordPress 3.4.
Are you agreeing with Mukesh that I must change my theme b/c I’m not going to do that. Go Daddy says I do not have a security issue.

Version 5.5.14My site is brand new and was professionally designed so it’s hard to believe that it is full of malware so fast, especially since it has security on it.
What 2011 theme are you referring to?
My previous theme is gone–it was hosted on a different site and my contract with that provider ended yesterday.I would not know where to find TAC.
If I delete my theme, my site will go away. Can’t do that.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Lost Homepage MenuOn the homepage there was a navigation menu listing the pages on the site:
Home
About
Services
Clients & Kudos
Blog
ContactThat’s gone and the logo and my name are gone.
If I could just get the navigation menu back, I’d be happy.I have not messed with the theme.

In reply to: Can't hyperlinkThe guest on my blog yesterday knew how to fix this.
All that needs to happen is to switch into Visual mode while composing.
Hyperlinks can no longer be accomplished with a blog post in HTML mode since 3.2.1 was pushed.

In reply to: Can't hyperlinkAs you can see below, part of your message came through as glyphs, so I don’t know what you’re asking me to do. Can you try again?
You wrote:“It’s a hard one to answer, this, because we can’t see what’s going on…
Can you open your Dashboard and Edit one of your posts or pages on which you have a URL? Then, in the editor click on the HTML tab and find the element that the Editor has created?
When you’ve done that, could you copy the whole element plus a bit of surrounding text, for context?
Next, could you post the URL to that page on your site so that we can compare what the Editor is producing with what the site is outputting?
Sorry it’s a bit convoluted, but I can’t think of any other way to get to compare what should be happening with what is.”Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can't hyperlinkNo, I’m not doubling the https://.
I’m inserting only what would be a valid URL to link.
From reading a tech note, I also got the idea that my blog posts were supposed to be automatically linking URLs that started with https:// all this time, and that’s never happened either.
Is there a switch I need to flip in my left sidebar that tells WordPress how I want my URLs to look in my blog posts?
I really don’t understand why this isn’t working. It was working fine before I upgraded to 3.2.1

In reply to: Can't hyperlinkThanks for responding.
Here’s the link the way I typed it in my post.
https://www.stephaniebarko.comThen I highlight and copy it.
Then I click “link” and the new dialog box in 3.2.1 comes up
and I insert https://www.stephaniebarko after https://.Then WordPress shifts back to my post, but does not hyperlink the URL (the way it used to before the upgrade).
If this is not enough detail for you, please state what else you need to troubleshoot my no longer being able to hypertext after the upgrade to 3.2.1.
