If I can set a specific fixed container size for the scrolling blog-article widget on the front page… The fact that each story has a different size container is causing the page to jump.

How can I remove the “tags” and how do I set a specific word count for the excerpts displayed.

In the theme edit area Copy & paste the code to the top of your theme “Theme Functions” functions.php. Be careful and use a child or staging or use a back-up

Is there a way to use another tile provider than CloudMade ?
Yes, there are other tile provider than CloudMade (used by default in this plugin). To chose for another, simply paste this function into your functions.php.

Having the dame issue. This plugin went from easy to difficult overnight.

It doesn’t show up as a page in the dashboard.
I overwrote the theme completely.
Deleted a few plugins that were suspect.
Suspected WPML. Deleted it…
Deleted and re-installed W3Cache
Searched the database with my limited knowledge…

No luck so far.
Can’t figure out where the page is generated from.
