After the latest update, my wordpress dashboard is broken – can’t even login to disable Jetpack.
This is the error I get when I try to open my wp-admin URL:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function inet_pton() in \\nawinfs02\home\users\web\b498\rh.bsearles\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\jetpack\modules\protect.php on line 276”
I assume at this point my best option is to FTP in and delete the Jetpack plug-in directory?
I have, yeah. Plug-ins are all deactivated, cache cleared, I switched themes with no luck, did a manual upgrade. I’ve spent the last few hours on this and have come up completely empty. Totally stumped.

In reply to: [Recent FB Posts] Formatting now that plugin-specific CSS is removed?Hi Danny,
I just mean that in the WordPress dashboard editor I no longer see the RFP-specific css file where I used to have this line. I tried adding it to the bottom of my theme’s style.css page, but it had no impact on the formatting. Not sure what I’m missing, but thanks for the help regardless.

In reply to: [Recent FB Posts] API status: Not ConnectedHey Danny,
You’ll be happy to know that updating to the just-released new version fixed my problem instantly. All I did was click the new “connect” link and I had my first-ever successful connection to Facebook.
Thanks very much, I appreciate it. A donation is comin’ your way…

In reply to: [Recent FB Posts] API status: Not ConnectedHi Danny,
– Yes, the URL does include “logged_in”
– “Website with Facebook login” was/is selected, with Site URL populated (includes https://, yes?), and I just filled in the App Domain field to be safe (without https://).On Advanced tab:
Client OAuth Login is enabled, Embedded browser OAuth login is disabled, Require AppSecret Proof for Server API calls is disabled. I haven’t touched these, so those are defaults. Should I change any of them?thanks again,

In reply to: [Recent FB Posts] API status: Not ConnectedHi Danny,
Thanks for the response, much appreciated.
When I click the ‘log in’ link, the page appears to reload, but that’s it. The “Error: The plugin is not connected to Facebook. Please log in.” in the pink-shaded box is still present, and the “Facebook API status: Not Connected” remains. No other error messages appear.
Same thing happens when I click the “Get Access Token” button. Page refreshes, same messages as above.

Thanks for the help, though.

In reply to: RSS Feed error: XML Parsing Error: junk after document elementAn update:
Found hacked / spam code on my homepage at https://www.bradleysalmanac.com
I’ve copied it below. Any idea how to remove it? I’ve tried checking my php files through the WordPress editor, and can’t find it anywhere.

In reply to: RSS Feed error: XML Parsing Error: junk after document elementThanks. Been trying that, but I have one question: Is there a way to force republishing of the pages/feed after I deactivate each plugin? Or does that happen automatically?
Some problem here, and it’s driving me nuts. Have searched everywhere for an answer, and all I’ve come up with so far is “Don’t use it”, or put Twitter’s own widget code in a regular Text widget (which ends up looking pretty ugly).
Any help would be VERY much appreciated. This is a brand new wordpress install at https://www.bradleysalmanac.com
