    Hi,

I’ve noticed Yoast strips off the https off of the canonical, I’ve added a custom canonical to test this, even changing the url completely to see if it was in fact Yoast doing this and it’s definitely Yoast processing this.

Ho can I change this so I can get absolute canonicals?

My site address in the settings is correct too.

    Hi @64tees

The Yoast SEO plugin should use absolute URLs and not relative URLs for the canonical URL output.

Would it be possible for you to provide us with an example URL where this is occurring so we can try and check this?

We are aware of instances where another plugin or custom code did affect the URLs in the page source (changing it from absolute URLs to relative URLs without the https://).
