• Hello, Support Super Hero’s!

My WordPress core files are in a subfolder named “public_html” For example:

    • /public_html/wp-admin/
    • /public_html/wp-content/

    I have a plugin:

    • Complaining about an incorrect http to https redirects
    • Telling me to go to Settings > General to fix this

In my General Settings, I have the WordPress address (URL) and the Site address (URL), both set to https://oohlalazouk.com

Considering my WordPress instal configuration, can you please tell me the correct settings for the WordPress address (URL) and the Site address (URL), i.e. should both URLs be set to the same address?

I get errors every time I’ve tried to remove one of the URLs.

    BIG thanks!
    Julian

    Thanks for your help!

I’m trying to remove/enquire about the correct settings because the Printful plugin is warning there is a problem integrating with my WordPress installation and suggests it may be because of a wrong http to https redirect. Then pointing me to the WordPress Site URL. The actual warning is:

If your currently setup WordPress site URL is redirected to another URL the integration might not work correctly. Typically this happens with incorrect http to https redirects. Go to Settings > General to fix this.

Thanks for any guidance you can give me about this problem.

    Hm.
Interesting – this week I needed to connect my Printful account with my PrestaShop website. In control panel for my domain, I had set the domain to :
    – automatically redirect all links to https://, and
    – re-write all https:// links on the site to https://

In PrestaShop, I configured the settings to always “Use https://”
    This created a conflict.
I went back into my Control Panel and removed both re-write requirements.
And I left PrestaShop alone to use https://
Once that was done, Printful and PrestaShop worked perfectly together. I guess they were competing for precedence re: re-writing the URL.
