Why Plugin Developers Don't Use SSL Link?

This is really annoying. I use SSL certificate for my website. But Everytime, I updated plugins, It shows yellow signal. But it should shows green signal. Then i fix it manually. This is so annoying. This is because, Maximum plugin developers don’t use SSL secured link in plugin. I think all of them should use https:// link in plugin code. They also can use // instead of https:// or https://. It will not interrupt ssl or non ssl website.
