    Hi,

    I’m using ajax search lite as my search plugin and staff list pro for the list of doctors presented.

    However, when i’m trying to do a test search using a doctor’s name, it returns a URL like this:

    https://{mydomain.com}/cpt_staff_lst_item/{doctor’s-name}/

    Is there a way to return a result as:

    https://{mydomain.com}/profile/{doctor’s-name}/

    I created a single page staff template with the provided url above but it’s not redirecting to it.

    Thanks!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    You have to go to single page options and add the single page url, however i still have the problem that my sitemap is not working. It still shows cpt_staff_lst in the url. Let me know if you can figure this out.

    @martinabourque, will this also cover the search results that includes strings on post and pages to land on their specific pages even if the single page URL is added?

    Thanks.

    There is WordPress search, Google search and WP search plugins.

    Staff List pages are dynamic pages. They do not have a static content, the default type WordPress uses for post or pages. WP search and most of the WP search plugins are quite limited and can only search database looking for a static text. There are plugins that can render shortcodes to analyze and index dynamic data. Google and other search engines scrap the pages and index visible and invisible content.

    Installing a SEO plugin is not enough to make it work on different types of pages or post. You can have quick an easy solution or do some extra work for better SEO and search results. Staff List and Staff List Pro have all the tolls required to make your site SEO friendly:

    We provide all the tools and options. It’s up to you to use them.

    Thank you for your reply @abcfolio!

    However, my concern is not really SEO but the functionality itself.

    Here’s a step by step instruction on how you can replicate what I’m trying to figure out here.

    1. Visit the homepage.
    2. On the search box, type “Ferdinand”.
    3. A dropdown result will appear (it shows a url that i’ve indicated on the start of the thread).
    4. If you click on that link, it just reloads the homepage and nothing happens.

    I created a profile for the said person like this: https://missionhospital.net/profile/ferdinand-morato/ but it doesn’t redirect at all to his page/profile.

    Thanks!

    I had one of our programmers write a plugin extension to fix the problem. Now it works great. It was really bothering me that the sitemap was not working correctly Let me know if anyone else needs help. https://www.webdesign-phoenix.com

    Hi @martinebourque,

    Is what you’re commenting here a fix for the said issue?

    And is the plugin extension a downloadable one or you’re promoting their website?

    Just curious.

    Thanks.

    @abcfolio,

    Is there a way that your team can be able to create a fix for this without martinabourque’s help?

    Thanks in advance.

    @abcfolio,

    I still can’t tell that this is resolved since even the support ticket we filed for the PRO version hasn’t been addressed yet.

    Please advise.

    Thank you.
