Problem with redirect to homepage after login

Hey, i just use this plugin: Redirect After Login and under settings i just used custom url for each role to go after logged in. I hope i made it clear enough for you to understand my bad english. xD

There are 2 places that you can set Login redirection.
1. Set the Forms>Login Form to “default”
2. Go to your User Roles>Whatever Role then set the Login Options to whatever URL you want. See if that works for you.

thank you for your advice but it still the same. I don’t know why.
The custom URL is not working. My login URL is:
https://www.chiaseworks.com/login
My setup redirect URL is: https://www.chiaseworks.com
Then after i login my account, the URL in browser become:
https://www.chiaseworks.com/login/www.chiaseworks.com.
I have no idea why.

Try adding the https:// in front of your URL.

I was able to recreate your issue and solve it that way. I believe this is a bug and hopefully UM can just add the Go To Homepage option to both Registration and Login dropdowns in the next build.

Thanks a lot. Finally I can redirect to homepage now. I hope Ultimate members will add the return homepage option for login dropdown list too!!!

Hi,

1. The Registration Options and Login Options in the User Roles do not have a “Go To Homepage” option in the dropdown like the Logout and Delete Options have. Maybe in the next build, you guys can add that.

2. Redirect to URL option requires the “https://” so if you just add https://www.yourhomepage.com, the code simply appends the URL to the current permalink. ex: https://yourhomepage.com/www.yourhomepage.com

dberg89 I think in your last post, with the first link, you meant to say https://www.yourhomepage.com (without the https://).
