• Dear WordPress HTTPS users,

I am trying to set up my domain with https protection. Therefore I checked the FAQ of WordPress HTTPS and looked through other users posts to find a solution to my problem but I couldnt find one.

The issue is that I dont get the whole domain to use https instead of http. I installed the plugin and changed WordPress address (URL) and Site address (URL) in the general settings from https://.. to https://.. .

Now these are my general settings:

    WordPress address (URL): https://diepersonalwerber.de/wordpress
    Site address (URL): https://diepersonalwerber.de

Then I checked the settings of WordPress HTTPS within wordpress:

    SSL Host: diepersonalwerber.de
    Force SSL Exclusively: not ticked
    Force SSL Administration: not ticked
    HTTPS Front Page: not ticked

..but it still doesnt work. If you search google for “diepersonalwerber” there should be 4 results. Only the last one works (zweimalm.de) – this is the second domain that I purchased from my provider and I am not even planning to use that one.

    Any ideas would be great.

Thanks in advance and best regards,
    Andreas

  • Hi I experience similar issue to you. Is there any resolution to this problem?

    Thanks

bump again. Is this plugin still alive?

I’m also having this same problem, but I don’t even see a place to tick “HTTPS Front Page”

I’m going to guess by “I dont get the whole domain to use https” you mean you’re getting partially encrypted errors. I just pushed out version 3.0 which may or may not fix the issues you were having. Please try updating and let me know if you need any help.

Sorry for the late response. I have not had time to support the plugin for a while now. Since I just pushed out 3.0, I’ll be keeping an eye on the support forums to fix any bugs that arise.

    Thanks,
    Mike
