• Hey,
I have just installed the plugin and inserted both, my App ID and my Application Key.

When I click on “Authorize Now”, it leads me to MYURL/?fb_publish_validate=1 but nothing else happens. It should ask me now wether I want to connect with FB or not, but it doesn’t.

Sorry for my bad English, I’m from Germany.

@webmaster95 I wish I could get more information about the error. My email ID is: [email protected]. Can you please coordinate with me to replicate the problem. I wanted the access of your wordpress backend so that I can check what is actually going wrong, please contact if you provide. You can count on me, I’m a developer, I don’t break things.

@promz Please do not request access to forum member’s site like that. That’s something that is actively discouraged and frowned up.

If you need information then please consider asking @webmaster95 to install this plugin and share the output.

    Any news here ?

    Hi there,
same problem: the authorization fails. Got Key, got ID. And this message, when I try to authorize FP:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Thanx in advance.

I also have a problem authorizing, I think it may be similar to the first post here.

When I click “Authorize now”, all I am getting is a blank page at an URL like this:

    https://{mysite.com}/wp-content/plugins/facebook-publish/lib/class/hybridauth/?hauth.done=Facebook&code={366 bytes of code}

I have been authorizing other Facbook plugins without any problems, so I don’t know what is going wrong here.

Same issue here. Can’t authorize anymore; only white/blank screen after pressing the button.
The ID and key are 100% correct.

Apparently it might be the FB API update??
It works fine when posting to my own profile but nothing appears on pages I am Admin of.
I have the public auth on my APP set ON inside the FB developer screen.

291336227652016/feed : (#200) The user hasn’t authorized the application to perform this action
The FB App is set and authorized and shared publicly in my Fb developer page as suggested.
It’s ONLY a problem trying to get it to post to pages. It works fine with my own profile.
I have searched hi and low for a resolution to this any help appreciated!

    XYZ Plugin produces same issue.

They responded its an API Issue on FB and an update being sent out on Monday!

That’s good news. I experience the same problem on both plugins, as well. Let’s hope for the best!
