• Im using Adminimize 1.7.27 The first issue I noticed was that my users get redirected to the wp-admin Your Profile page when I would rather they be redirected to the Dashboard (or failing that, Pages).

In Adminimize Backend Options, the last setting says “You have deactivated the Dashboard, please select a page for redirection or define custom url, include https://? ” and the select is disabled. This is unexpected because although I have deactivated 6 of the 9 Adminimize Dashboard Options, there are 3 still active and the Dashboard link appears in the navigation and the page does work.

Dashboard options are not deactivated in the Adminimize Menu Options.

Also perplexing is that if I do try and deactivate the Dashboard entirely and set it to redirect to the Pages, and try to remove it from the Menu Options, it still appears in the WP Admin nav (though it does redirect to Pages).

I simply want the user to see the trimmed down Dashboard when they log in.

Any thoughts about what could be the problem?

    Thanks!

UPDATE: for anyone interested, I resolved my main issue by adding an add_action ‘login_form’ to a redirect function, though I still feel like Adminimize appears to be showing erroneous information in it’s settings about the state of the Dashboard.

    Dear anobjectn,
apparently I have the same problem. All my users are redirected to wp-admin.

My I ask, please, where did you put the code add_action ‘login_form ?

    Thanks!
