I recently changed my website from http to https. Apparently, SSL existed all this time, but I never noticed, until I needed to use WooCommerce. I updated my WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to https://, and then used the plugin WP-force-SSL. It works fine in Internet Explorer, and Firefox, but Google Chrome…nope! It goes to http and includes the letter “i” with the circle around it saying the site is unsecure.

The kind and brilliant folks that made the plugin helped me a LOT! And it turns out that within the html, there are some instances of http instead of https. Lots of my jpg images, for example.

My question is: Do I need to go through the html in every single page of my website and change every single instance of http to https? Is there an easier way? And if there isn’t an easy way, as I am doing a search and replace, are there specific instances where it needs to remain http?
