• Hello: I just noticed that the links on my homepage and other pages have disappeared, replaced by the one word ‘menu’ on the upper right side. I certainly have not not done anything to cause this to happen. Please could you tell me how to fix this? And please could you keep the instructions simple as I am not very html savvy. My site was was set up by someone who, it seems, does not provide any ongoing support. Thank you very much for any assistance!!

    Thanks – sorry I meant to include a link…

    It’s https://www.vaiaata.com

Appears OK to me on widescreen monitor. And when I view on tablet I see the “mobile menu” as the word Menu upper right. Have you tried click the Menu? I think it is supposed to be like that!

Ah! I feel such a fool! I see the word menu only replaces the actual links when I have a sidebar showing on my screen. Get rid of the sidebar and there are the links! I never noticed that before. Thank you!

    Hi Vaiaata,

I can see that the menu links are visible. To be precise, the menu links are visible on the desktop version with the resolution greater that 1024px in width and it takes the from of the button with “Menu” text on it if you view it on the resolution less that 1024px. This is simply because the WordPress theme you are using is mobile responsive; which means that your website design will adapt to various mobile screens and as per your responsive design specifications, the menu links will turn into a menu button on iPad, iPhone, etc.

    Thanks a lot Ruchida,

It’s good to be able to know the background behind the formatting.
