    My theme is TwentyFourteen. I must say it looks great on the Galaxy S3 (Android JellyBean). I found a bug with Google Plus and Facebook. When clicking on them, rather than providing an option to use the Google Plus or Facebook apps that I have on the phone it directs to the login page (Facebook mobile login and Gmail login). It works great with Twitter, just these 2 apps. I tried with Internet Explorer and Chrome and saw the same bug.

    Another thing I noticed is with using Internet Explorer (same phone). When I chose Twitter, a new small window is opened (blank window with an X on the top right hand corner to close) and then I see the option to use the Twitter app. It only happens on Internet Explorer. Other than that it is a great plugin. The most crucial one is Google Plus and Facebook I said at the beginning.

    Hi Dan,
    since it’s a plugin for mobile websites, it redirects to mobile websites. The WhatsApp share function opens WhatsApp itself because WhatsApp provides an URL handler (whatsapp:// instead of https://).
    Facebook and Google+ also provide URL handler, but just for native apps and not for mobile websites – as far as we know.

    Clicking on Twitter gets it straight to the app. Google+ and Facebook takes me the login page even though I have the apps already. There are plugins on mobile site that fixed this and when clicking on Google+ or Facebook takes it straight to the app rather than opening a new window requesting to login.

    @dan14,
    Yes. I Do agree with Dan14. I’m facing the same issue.
    WhatsApp & Twitter works really great.
    because of this issue, I had to disable facebook share button on my mobile website.

    Then it seems that the twitter share page is redirecting you to its app automatically. That’s nothing from our side.

    There is nothing we can do about it. As we said, Facebook and Google+ just provide URL Handlers for native apps.

    If I will show you a plugin that manages to get around it, at least in Google+ will it help?

    I think its this plugin. I have disabled but I am almost sure it is this one:

    Let me know if works, I am almost sure it does.

    Nope, this plugin does the same thing we do. It redirects to the website.

    I am going to check which plugin worked because I am sure I had one. Give me time to look into this.

    I am going to close this as your are correct. It used to work in Google+, something must have changed. Great plugin and thank you for the fast response.
