    Hey there,

Was hoping to get your advice using your plugin.

While using the sidebar widget, when setting the images to be shown, the widget works as expected and uses the post’s feature image.
However… using short code featured images doesn’t show at all.

The feed im pulling in , looking at the example.com.au/feed/ page there are no images.

I was reading in one of the forums solutions that you suggest that images don’t exist in the feed due to length. Yet it still doesn’t explain how come the widget is showing the images and the short code doesn’t.

    Here is the short code I’m using: [wp_rss_multi_importer category=”1″ excerptlength=”25″ defaultimage=”2″ morestyle=”read more…”]

    Setting: Under Image Handling
Every single tickbox is ticked and ‘Default category image’ setting is set to “Process normal”.
(Also would like to stress that “Replace articles with no image with default category image” isn’t working as well.
I did set category and a default image using full URL (https://)

Was hoping you could shed some light on the matter,
I look forward to hear from you soon,
    Cheers.

first of all, have you assigned the feed to a category and then put the default image in for that category?

    Hey,
    Thanks for the replay.

Yes to both. In the mean time I have made three more feeds. Only to the first one I have actually assigned a default image.

Bellow you can find a link to my website. you could see that on the right the widget is working nicely but on the left, under Brisbanite cuisines there are no pictures.

The other feeds, are actually coming from the website’s category feeds.

    This is the short code im using. [wp_rss_multi_importer category=”1″ maximgwidth=”160″ excerptlength=”25″ defaultimage=”1″ morestyle=”read more…”]

    Thanks again for the help!
    Cheers,
