This is doing it on non subdirectory install as well. Brand new wp install with latest updraft plus

Just FYI, no an issue on the server, the other sites on an older version of UP are fine, in 1.12.29 there is no error, on the same host.

The other indicator is that the disk space use is stuck at ‘calculating’, the problem is on 3 of my sites using 1.12.32 :: “the Web-server disk space in use by UpdraftPlus: calculating… refresh”

Could you tell us which hosting company your site is hosted with?

It is my reseller hosting. Turnkey. I contacted them and they have made no changes. All my sites on that host using 1.12.29 work perfectly (20+ sites). Anything 1.12.32 or past fails as described (Only updated a couple so far, wont be updating any more until this is fixed). So the hosting environment shouldn’t be the issue.

Apologies for the delay.

The error message that you are receiving appears to be generated by the WP-DB-Backup plugin. Deactivating the plugin should solve the issue.

The WP-DB-Backup plugin does not appear to have been updated in over a year. As such, it appears that it is no longer correctly compatible with later versions of WordPress.
I would recommend asking for support from the plugin author if you wish to continue using that plugin.

I agree with your findings in general, but the issue is compatibility with the change you made in Updraftplus. Not wordpress. I just updated wordpress on a site to check the issue. It did not occur. When I updated to the latest updraftplus, it occurred.

Austin Matzko’s plugin only gets updated annually or so, but I have been using it for a decade, as do many folks I know in the development industry. It has been flawless for a decade.

I removed it and am using a different system, but it might be a good idea to see what change in updraft plus is causing this since the plugin is very widely used. The errors are occurring because of an update in updraft plus, not wordpress.
