Disqus says "You need to upgrade your database to continue" but gives 404

I’m getting this exact same issue. Has there been any fix for it?

You may have to contact your host. I have seen some posts where people fixed this issue talking to their host.

I have exactly the same problem. Been trying to disable all other plugins and switch to default 2015 theme but still land on 404 ??

What should I ask my host to get that fixed? TIA

I don’t really know. But it seems like this problem is coming more than often and no-one knows what is the cause of this problem.

My web host said that there was a problem with mod_security that they fixed, and now it works. Speak to your web host.

Yep, actually I did. My host is Namecheap and they changed something with mod_security and it works now.

Good to hear! That’s what they did with my setup too.

Contacting Namecheap to disable mod_security worked for me too when I had this issue. Would be nice if Disqus had an FAQ or something on this instead of everyone having to search for answers.
