Critical errors in Google Webmasters (v 0.9.44)
-
Things were working fine till last month, but starting this month, almost every URL is now shown has having “critical issue” by Google webmasters. I had made no changes in the settings and I thought maybe this was a temporary issue, but things have gone only worse.
This is what Google Webmasters say :
Prohibited or invalid use of HTML Tag (Critical issue)
Remove prohibited HTML tags, or fix attributes or values not supported by the AMP standard. AMP pages with prohibited or invalidly used HTML tags may appear in Google search results without AMP-specific display features.Almost every URL is listed as having this issue. But top example is:
Details:
Invalid URL protocol ‘http:’ for attribute ‘action’ in tag ‘FORM [method=GET]’.
AMP URL:
https://www.opindia.com/2017/03/when-upa-sent-deputy-cm-to-raid-an-aeroplane-to-stop-bjp-from-forming-government/amp/
Canonical URL:
https://www.opindia.com/2017/03/when-upa-sent-deputy-cm-to-raid-an-aeroplane-to-stop-bjp-from-forming-government/This “Invalid URL protocol ‘http:’ for attribute ‘action’ in tag ‘FORM [method=GET]’.” is what is appearing everywhere. I have no idea what it is. Can you please help?
