    ok. I figured out the problem. If the URL begins with http or https, there’s no problem. But if it starts with www, than newsletter appends the URL of one’s own website before the link.

    A link must always start with http: or https: probably this is the problem. A link starting with www is not an url but an uri which is always appended after the blog full domain name with https://.
