I just installed the complainz plugin on my worpress installation, to be on the safe site, and no matter how often I run the assistant, I’m always getting 97% ready and not 100% … what am I missing?

On my other 3 sites where I have the plugin, everything is fine…

    Hi @uiuiui7,

Are there any tasks left on your Complianz Dashboard, that might indicate why you did not reach 100% yet?

    Kind regards,
    Leon

    Hi!

Yes, it claims SSL is not yet installed – but it is!

    Hi @uiuiui7,

We check if SSL is present with a standard WordPress function.

It might be your backend is not on SSL, or you’re using a different implementation, e.g. Cloudflare SSl or Load Balancing.

I see your website is also available on https://. To solve all issues at once, I would suggest installing Really Simple SSL. Available in the WordPress repository.

ACtually, it’s about the site https://boingpodcast.de – the SSL is via “Let’s Encrypt” which my hosting provider offers.

The other sites I have give me 100% using the same SSL. Maybe it’S because the site is new?

    Hi @uiuiui7,

If you installed Let’s Encrypt after installing Complianz, please try to run the cookie scan again and see if this works.

Otherwise, I would still suggest installing Really Simple SSL. This should at least make sure the WordPress function is extended to check other possibilities as well.

If that doesn’t work, please let me know. Both plugins are made by us, so we must be able to help you out:)

    Hi!

Unfortunately, still no change. I honestly don’T want to install another SSL solution that the one my webhost is providing me with, as it works fine with the other 4 wordpress sites I host (where I also us Complainz and don’t have this issue) – So I’m a bit stumped.

The site https://comedyworkshops.de clearly has SSL installed.

I deleted your plugin and reinstalled it, but no change. I’ll try going into ftp and also delete all the files and then try again.

    Hi @uiuiui7,

Really Simple SSL is not an SSL certificate. It makes sure your SSL certificate is installed correctly and scans your website to see if all content is migrated properly. It works together with your hosting solution.

You can remove it afterward if you like, but should be the fastest way to resolve this.

The notice in your dashboard is because we suspect the WordPress function that checks if you have SSL, doesn’t check all possibilities. That’s why there’s a false positive and subsequently not 100%.

If you’re not happy installing the plugin, we can have a look how to remove the notice and get you on 100%, or see if we can extend the WordPress function to capture all possibilities in the near future.

    regards Aert

Hiya! I changed the option to force https (meaning to redirect all http to https) and now it works!
