There is a random number generated below the footer caused by wassup. Why did you abandon this great plugin? Maybe update it once a year or even consider making a premium version and some people will be willing to purchase it.

I have seen that some time ago you responded to another question that WassUp is GDPR compliant and reminded that it is a real time analytics system.
However, even if it can be used compliantly, one actually needs to use it in such a way, and therefore have certain aspects mentioned in one’s privacy declaration. Furthermore, one may have to include information about cookies, and perhaps even consider it for one’s cookie consent solution.
Could you, therefore, please let us know, perhaps even in an amended FAQ (for I could not find any information as to this there), ideally, in which way it is compliant and which information a user may have to give in order to be compliant him- or herself. You could also mention that statistics can actually automatically be deleted and that one can choose the time period of storage, for that is quite helpful in order to include in one’s privacy declaration.
Or, if you prefer not to do this for legal reasons, could you please mention there (and ideally also let me know here) whether WassUp uses cookies, including, to which purpose, which information they contain and how long they will be valid?

I’ve noticed that URL referrers that come from non-secured pages (https://) are logged, but ones that come from secured (https://) referrers are not. The referrer field is blank for them.
Edit: It DOES record secure websites if it’s installed on a secure website. But non-secured sites do NOT record referrers from secure websites. Hope this makes sense.

Also, when I save a second IP address, https:// is still added to the beginning of the line, and the unicode “%20” symbol for a space is added before the second IP address, and then neither IP address is excluded.

I would appreciate the help in a problem with displaying statistics wassup.
Instead of statistics, the following message is displayed: “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/catalina/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 1482″
When I reactivated wassup I received, for a short period of time, the following message:” Wassup cannot generate accurate statistics with page cache enabled. If your cache plugin stores whole WordPress pages/ posts as HTML documents, then Wassup wont run properly. Please deactive your cache plugin and remove “WP_CACHE” from “wp_cache.php”

]]>I turned off IPv6 in CloudFlare, but now what is happening is that for many entries, it’s showing Cloudflare IP addresses. However, if you go into what’s being logged in the database itself, both the original and the Cloudflare IP addresses are being recorded in the ip field and are separated with a comma. But it looks like the hostname field is pulling the second entry in the ip field which is always the Cloudflare IP address. Would it be possible for WassUp stats to either log the original IP address AFTER the Cloudflare IP address or for the first entry in the IP field (which is the originating IP) be used for the hostname field? I hope this makes sense.
example: ip field entry is “55.555.555.555,108.162.219.132” and the hostname field entry is “108.162.219.132”

]]>A few months ago, wassup stats started displaying IPv6 addresses. I figured it was some sort of server setting. I installed another WordPress site on my account and I am also running wassup stats on it as well. However, it doesn’t show IPv6 addresses – just numerical IPs. When I go into my actual server log, IPv6 addresses are not being recorded – just numerical IP addresses. Any idea on why my first WP install is showing IPv6 addresses and my 2nd one is not? They’ve got the same settings. The only difference between the two is this database field: WassUp Table Charset/collation for 1st install: utf8mb4_unicode_ci / 2nd install: utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci but I don’t think that would affect it?
I’d like for the 1st install to NOT show IPv6 addresses, so any help would be appreciated.

Creating table has duration 200 ms. But “select” durates more 600000 ms.
Table “product_wassup” had 1500000 records one month ago. I thought issue with huge table. I’ve reduced to 200000 records. But it dont resolve issue.

my suggestion would be to present the WassUp in the next version completely in PHP7.
PHP 5 will no longer be available in January 2019 and support for PHP 5 will be completely discontinued.
