This plugin doesn’t seem to be working anymore. I tried installing it on a new website and the feed wouldn’t display then I took a look at a site that I had created previously and noticed that the feed hadn’t updated since the end of May. I’m assuming that this is due to an update in Twitter’s API?
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Thanks.

Hi, can someone please tell me how to use the Twitter Wings template() function, want to display the tweets in a post and not at the sidebar.
Thx a lot, adrian
]]>After upgrading to WordPress 3.5.1, I’m getting the error message:
Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in …. /wp-content/plugins/twitter-wings/twitter-wings.php on line 300
in place of my twitter messages.
From a google search of the error message, I notice quite a few other sites have this problem. I’ve had to deactivate Twitter Wings while I find a solution.
Is there a work-around or a new version of Twitter Wings coming out in the near future to correct this problem?
]]>It appears that only one instance of the Twitter Wings widget can be used. Is there a way around this? I’m using it once on my main sidebar and want to use it again in a separate location but can’t seem to do this, and no other plugin offers the hashtag functionality this one does. ??
Hope you can help!
Hello,
Installed twitter wings yesterday on the Reason theme. The button displays but my recent tweets do not. My twitter account is not private. I’ve checked my settings and deleted all other twitter plugins, but still no joy.
Any idea why this might be happening? All help greatly appreciated.

]]>Hi there,
I took over project and there was used this plugin. Client says that it worked fine until some time ago. It displayes only one tweet ignoring number in settings. Did anyone have such problem before?
Best

Updating to the latest wordpress has caused errors with this plugin on my site at https://churchguitarlessons.com/blog/
Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long
Is there any resolution for this?
]]>I haven’t seen anyone else post this problem, so I’m figuring it must just be me. Anyone have any insight as to why this error would occur randomly on my site? It shows up occasionally, sometimes fixes itself, and sometimes, if I go in the settings, remove the user name, save, then add the username back in, that fixes it for a while. Any thoughts/direction/help is most appreciated!

I don’t want “(” and “)” around “via @MentionedTweet”.

]]>To me the plugin looks nice and useful. Unfortunately multiple hastags don’t seem to work (#hash1,#hash2). And for this functionality is a must. I don’t want some nonsense Tweets to show up on my website.
Would love to see a solution for this. I do think it has to do with WordPress > 3.05 or something.
]]>Hello,
I am having an issue where my twitter feed disappears about 5 minutes after its installed. Its the only twitter plugin I have installed and activated currently. Ive tried just about every other twitter plugin for about a month and they all worked. This one is the only one I like and am hoping to get this resolved. Ive tried deactivating and deleting the plugin and then reinstalling it again and it does the same thing. It dispalys my twitter feed and then within 5 mintues only the follow button is left and the twitter feed is gone. Any suggestions? Thank you!
]]>Hi,
how can I shorten the update time for fetching tweets from 60 minutes to something like every 10 minutes?
Cache Expire Time doesn’t seem to do the job…
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but Twitter Wings isn’t showing tweets. Everything appears to be set up correctly and other Twitter plugins work fine. Problem can be viewed on https://www.hoodmusic.net
First widget is Twitter for WordPress, which works ok. Second is Twitter wings, which shows the follow button, but that’s it.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

]]>I have installed Twitter Wings and set up the options. I have left all the options to the default settings and just added my twitter username. All that is displayed is the ‘follow’ button and name. The feed does not display.
