Simple and comfortable to use, really nice style, I was looking for.

I am using this on three sites. Makes things so much easier. Just write URL (easiest with wwww and without https://) and the plugin will take care of the rest. Text looks also much cleaner in the Editor.

Works like a charm. It converts all past and future external links to have no follow and target blank attributes. Autolinks are always a plus.

I used to use a different ‘go to’ plug-in but this one is better. The relationships tags are great, plus the ability to automatically add a class to indicate external links is a time saver; i used to have to manually add classes to all external links.

The “sem-external-links” plugin is a plugin that should be part of WordPress by default, in my opinion. The plugin is also helpful on my website ( https://dcjtech.info/ ).
When using this plugin, keep in mind that valid URL characters include

Hello,
Im not a big fan of bashing plugins and I have seen many users have success with this plugin. My issue is not related to the plugin, but the combination of Pantheon and this plugin being used on the same install. It causes a conflict with my php sessions. External Links has over 40,000 active installs and you can trust that it will work in most cases. I consider my conflicts to be attributed to the combination of using a session manager by Pantheon. I like the Pantheon and I will use this plugin on my other sites.

This plug-in wouldn’t work for me… Adds rel=”nofollow” to links even when I’ve added rel=”follow” (per instructions).

Thank you for the plugin. This is a functionality that should be in the WordPress core when inserting links. Before this I had to manually go to the HTML and add nofollows to websites I didn’t want to spread link connections to.
This plugin solved a problem and saves time.
