The new version of bootstrap works only if jQuery version is higher than 1.9.1
After some debugging I found out that you are echoing jQuery from a cdn which is 1.7 which I completely fail to understand because wordpress already has its own jQuery which can be enqueued using a simple wp_enqueue_script(‘jquery’) function.
Also there is a $ missing in post-tiles-frontend.js file for new responsive grid.
If you could fix these issues it would be great…..!

The page works fine, but when I click next, or any other page (via the navigation created by the plugin), the next page displays posts from all categories, not just that 1 category.
Is it possible to have the link on a post tile open in a new window? I tried using a redirect on the post page itself, with target set to new, but that didn’t work.

A number of comments have pointed towards a jQuery conflicts with other plugins.
Can I suggest that the line:

in post-tiles.php be changed to a wp_enqueue_script function in WordPress and be made conditional on jQuery not already being loaded?
Secondly, in post-titles-frontend.js, all the references to $( should be replaced by jQuery( to avoid any conflicts where the jQuery shorthand isn’t available. There will be no affect on functionality by doing this.

This question was asked previously and shows resolved, but there is no resolution, just states that the user figured it out. I have 4 tiles displaying but they are all stacked on top of each other vertically rather than horizontal across the page. How could I change this?

Is it possible to reverse how the overlay works. Currently image is default then when cursor hovers over it color comes up – but would it be possible to set the overlay to be a static color and when the mouse hovers it shows the stock picture?

1/4 chosen isn’t showing-up in the Category Key area, so you only see 3 listed + All – although the posts themselves show below in the UL. I’m using this as a navigation, of sorts & really require that all selected Cat’s. have links to them!

I really like the plugin that you’ve written, yet, like others here, I’d like to be able to tile pages, custom taxonomies and based on tags. The order in which these features would be most helpful (to me) would be:
1) Being able to pass the taxonomy name in the short code. That is, [post-tiles taxonomy=’resource’] with the default being ‘post’.
2) Being able to tile pages on the site.
3) Being able to tile based on tags, rather than just categories.
Anyway… thanks for your work on this. I could try to add these features (in the above order) myself, but I’m not that experienced in wordpress plugin development.

LOVE this plugin idea. However, I’m having an issue on my site where this plugin displays posts from all categories but has filters on top. My understanding was that this plugin will only display posts from certain categories (specified in the categories list) and will also place filtering buttons at the top (like it does).
Is there a way to stop it from display all the posts on my site?

I love the plugin so far. There are a few things I think could help make it an even better one.
1) Ability to set the Font Color.
Since we can set the Custom Tile Color, it would be great to also be able to set the font color. My reasoning is that not everyone will choose a a dark color for the tile background which makes the default white font an issue.
2) Ability to set transparency on the Tile.
This is particularly useful when combined with the “Use Featured Images For Tiles” feature as one could show the overlay text box with some transparency to still reveal the image.
With an implementation like “ul#post-tiles li a {background-color: rgba(200, 200, 200, 0.5);}” you could also start considering having the featured images together with the text but with the jQuery features turned off (leaving the text visibly in place of course). I believe this would resolve some issues that people have been talking about here before.
3) Ability to say whether tiles should be left, center, or right alined within the post-tiles-container.
4) Ability to influence the “Make Post Tiles Responsive” feature.
For instance, it would be nice if you could define some settings like big screen has icons size X, medium sceen has size Y etc. Then one can let the rest sort itself out. At the moment it’s quite odd that on a big screen the icons would be smaller than on a smaller screen for instance.
5) Ability to add Custom CSS rules.
This would help tweak some of the tiles.

The pagination does not seem to work. By this I mean, regardless of which page number I click on, I’m getting the same set of tiles as I do on the first page.
I notice the URL when I mouse over the pages seem to be a bit messed up. When I’m on the first page and when I mouse over the page numbers, they all seem to be fine (even though the content is not correct). But as soon as I click on any other page number and mouse over the page numbers in the pagination display, the URLs look weird.
For example (I’ve masked the name of my site as it’s a private family blog) :
The URL for Page 16 when viewed from Page 1 looks like this :
https://???.com/?page_id=2771/page/16
But as soon as I navigate to any other page (Eg Page 2), the URL for Page 16 now looks like this :
https://???.com/?page_id=2771%2Fpage%2F2/page/16
Even though I’m now on page 2 (which shows the same content as page 1), when I mouse over the “next” button, the URL shows this :
https://???.com/?page_id=2771%2Fpage%2F2/page/2
Any help is appreciated.
