Update the plugin
]]>I have a few domains that I always want to be rel=nofollow throughout my website.

This was posted before, and I am looking for the same thing.
Thanks

Hello,
is the Plugin still under Development, since 8 month no update ??
Thx
Sally
I am new to blogging.
I have installed and activated the Nofollow for External Links plugin and activated it.
It is not adding nofollow to my external links.
I have gone into settings to make sure the add nofollow check box is checked.
The post linked above has not been published yet so I don’t know if you can see it.
I have tried 4 different nofollow plugins and had the same results with all of them.
My blog is myjourney2strength.com
I am using wordpress version 5.2.2
How do I fix this?
Please help!
I have a quick question
I have a few domains that I always want to be rel=nofollow throughout my website.
Is it possible to “flip” the plugins settings, so that instead of “Exclude domains” that it could have “Include domains” and then only add rel=nofollow to the included domains?
Hello,
It seems that this plugin hasnt been tested yet with WordPress 5?
Thanks
]]>Hi…I have some sponsored posts coming up (they haven’t been written yet) and I used to have a box to check to add “no follow” to those types of links. That drop down option is gone now and I tried to add plugins to get it back and nothing is working.
]]>Hi,
I see from previous support posts you were planning on adding support for noopener. Is that still happening?
Thank you.
]]>Hi!
Your plugin can work with custom RSS-channels?
I need to add ‘nofollow’ tags to the feed.
]]>I’m using WordPress 4.9.7 with Weaver II Pro Theme.
I added Nofollow for External Link plugin and activated it. When I go back and check my pages and posts, the links do not have Nofollow added to them. I expected that the plugin would modify them.
Does this plugin work not by modifying my HTML but in execution? If so, how can I verify that it is working correctly?
]]>Hello,
I tried to exclude the Domains like FB, Twitter etc. to dofollow my Social Networks. But when checking with an online tool they are nofollow. Also is there a way to not exclude the full domain name. like Facebook.com, is it possible to exclude just a link like Facebook.com/MyFacebookPage ?
Thx
Best Regards
Sally
Hi, is there a general way to hardcode (inline) a page’s HTML / a href links to create an exception to Nofollow for External Link?
]]>Hi,
The most recent update broke all shortcodes on a website and there were no errors in PHP’s error log (logging was enabled) which made tracing the issue tedious.
It was a bad experience.
]]>Hi,

Hello. Thanks for this plugin, I recommend it all the time. Will there be an update to make it work with the new rel=”noopener noreferrer” code that WordPress has started forcing on everyone’s links if they use the visual editor? Thanks!

]]>I switched from another External Links Plugin

With that, I used rel=”follow” to exclude certain links. That seems to work just as well with your plugin. Is there another/better away to achieve follow links?
]]>It seems don’t work with your another plugin “Easy Social Icons”.
I put this plugin in the widget Social Link (Header) and it don’t add the rel=nofollow to the tag

]]>I found relative links like “/category/page” are getting rel=nofollow and target=_blank added to it, even though they’re internal links.
I found if I replaced the line in nofollow-external-links.php
that says
$url = $matches[$i][0];
with
`
$url = $matches[$i][2];
if( $url[0] === ‘/’ ) {
continue;
}
`
the links were correctly not adding nofollow or target-blank (and other external links were still adding nofollow and target-blank, from the testing I did)

I found if you add
add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_items', 'cn_nf_url_parse' );
to the php file, it does. Can you add this line of code?

If you look at one of the hostel modals by clicking on it (for example, Shelter City under the “Oude Zijd” section), the button we have that says “Book on hostelword.com” doesn’t contain a nofollow ref in the link when we inspect the element.
I tried making some edits to the plugin code, like changing the text it searches for to not include the “<a” part of the link, and changing line 75 from if ($pos === false)
{ to if ($pos === false | $pos > 12) {
because the button links contained our domain at the end of the url (and we thought this might be causing the link to be excluded), but neither of these worked.
The buttons are made via code copied from the Avada theme.

]]>$exclude_domains_list is undefined. Solution: define it first in case it is empty, like so:
56: $exclude_domains_list = array();
