Thought it would be easy to find an educational quiz plug, but so many of the ones I tried were really more suitable for marketing. After lots of frustrating dead ends, I found this one, which fits the bill perfectly. Audio, visuals and text, and works great on a touch screen mobile. Very happy to have found it.

This is a great plugin, my choice for quizzes always.
Only one request, please make the styles (mtq_core_style.css, mtq_theme_style.css) to load only on the pages where the shortcode is used. It’s two files that Page Speed Test is always complaining about and they are absolutely useless on most pages.

Everything has been good for years as far as I know but just recently this plugin has stopped working on a few of my friends’ phones. It’s not all the time so I’m not sure what the problem is. If you can update the code a bit I’m happy to bug hunt or help if I can.
2020/01/03: No updates for the past 3 versions of WordPress. Unfortunately, I’m moving all the quiz data into a spreadsheet as a backup before removing this plugin. I just wish the bugs could have been checked and the plugin was only loaded on pages we put the quizzes on. This plugin loads render-blocking code on your website’s top page.

1. i am using free mTouch Quiz plugin how many Quizzes can i create?
2. Do we have any option to upload all the questions once (Bulk uploading) in mTouch Quiz
3. for example if i have 150 questions in a quiz can i show only 80 questions random?

Another reviewer rated this plugin at 1 star. I disagree. It isn’t worthless. mTouch is easy to use, it works and has a lot of useful features. What I do have a problem with is the gimmick. The plugin’s colors are so obnoxious that they wouldn’t fit with most website’s themes. You can go premium and pay the 19.98 (introductory price) or the 29.99 (regular price) for a bunch of color themes that might fit with your site or might not. The author called the price ‘modest’. Right. For a pack of preset colors that are just as obnoxious as the free one? I don’t think so. His other addons are the same price (for each one). Since his plugin is the only one that I saw billed as ‘touch friendly’, I’d much rather he drop the pretense and charge for the plugin with the theme pack attached. But what’s the world without used car salesmen?

It has helped me a lot.
After installation I had the issue that “Create Quiz” link will not work. WordPress will thros Internal Server error. So I wrote directly to the plugin developer(through his website) for this issue and he immedeatly responded.
Great support and great plugin.

How to export and import mTouch Quiz using phpMyadmin. You have to have already installed mTouch Quiz on your new server.
Be careful of what database you are using and also what table you are exporting and importing to. In the following case wp_3 is the second subfolder of my installation.
1. In your old site, go to phpMyadmin
2. find wp_3_mtouchquiz_answers wp_3_mtouchquiz_questions wp_3_mtouchquiz_quiz wp_3_mtouchquiz_ratings and open in tabs
3. go to each new tab and click on export
4. click on GO, file will now be downloaded to your computer
5. on your new site, go to phpMyadmin
6. find wp_3_mtouchquiz_answers wp_3_mtouchquiz_questions wp_3_mtouchquiz_quiz wp_3_mtouchquiz_ratings and open in tabs
7. go to each new tab and click on import
8. choose the correct file
9. click on GO

I’d been looking for an easy way to create simple quizzes and this turned out to be just what the doctor ordered. And when a glitch was caused by an upgrade to 3.5 the developer had a fix in place by the end of the day. Made a donation the same day.

I installed this version of quiz in my website and except for few features, this is giving an excellent performance both in terms of visual quality and in stability.
