Hi! I discovered this plugin and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I used the live demo and I loved it, thanks for your work.
However, when I installed in my site some react errors appeared. I suppose that is a wordpress version problem? I’m using WP 6.5.2. Should it works? I have created a site clon and update to WP 6.6.2 and that is fixed but I’m having problems to update WP on the production server, any idea if there is something I can do to fix the error without updating?
On the other hand on the cloned version I realized that I can’t use the “placeholder” for the Image element, just in case this was a unknown bug, is not very dramatic but FYI if you want track it.
Thank you!
]]>Hi, I’m starting to use Block Designer, I’m very happy with this plugin so far.
I tried today to build an inline block (that I’d like to be able to use within text) and unfortunately I haven’t been able to.
Is this possible ?
Thank you in advance for your answer ??
PS : Is it possible to create a Block category ?
]]>Hi Helmut,
first thank you for the great plugin! Just taking the first steps and struggling a bit…
I created a block like this: div-html(h2)-Author Rich Text
I can find and use that block in Gutenberg, but I want to automatically create a new paragraph block when I press “CR”, so like the behaviour of the core headline block. My custom block instead creates a new line and stays in my custom block.
I need the “+” icon to exit the block and create an new one. Is there a way to mimic the normal block behaviour concerning “CR” (so build a custom headline block for example which behaves like the core one in the editor)?
Thanks!
Stephan
Hi again, how can I add and use custom icons?
]]>With Author Rich Text spaces are lost, what am I doing wrong here?
When I add a ART area in to a block I cannot not write plain text when I add that block into a page/post.All spaces are lost, also in the published page.
I try to create a custom buttons that has a link with a custom icon, and some text on that button.
Hi Helmut,
what I am trying to realize with the block-designer:
An ‘address block’ where the author at the backend is able to insert simple contact information in fields like name, address, tel, e-mail, website etc. whereby the fields tel, e-mail and website are then presented as html a tags with href=”mailto: , href=”tel: and href=”https://.
Is this possible?
]]>It would be nice if there could be an element for just a link. Like invisible link that stretches over his parent element and author can when using the block add a link adress to it.
Is there a way that could be added to this plugin? That was the only complaint I got from authors using this plugin: That there is no way for them to add links to a button or something else (it’s possible only on paragraphs).
While making a post in Admin Panel, content creators can’t see blocks from block designer when using Safari browser. They are not visible in list of usable blocks.
And if they access editing of a post where someone on a different browser put that block in, in it’s place they see this message:
“Your site doesn’t include support for the “bd/block-485″ block. You can leave this block intact or remove it entirely.”
Can this be fixed somehow?
]]>Hi
after activating your plugin, the “Block Designer” menu item is still missing in the admin-menu.
I tried with no other plugins activated and also with the default 2022 theme.
How to troubleshoot this?
Thank you in advance and kind regards,
Sascha
