    Hi,

your site has a ‘too many redirects’ error. This is usually caused when there is a redirect to https:// activate at the same time as the Really Simple SSL redirect to https://.

The quickest way to get your site up and running is by accessing the site via FTP and rename the force-deactivate.txt script to force-deactivate.php visit the script via your browser. That will remove all redirects and make the site available over https:// again. How you can achieve this is described here: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/uninstall-websitebackend-not-accessible/

The most common causes of a redirect loop are listed here: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/my-website-is-in-a-redirect-loop/. Once you have deactivated the plugin using the script you can start locating the redirect back to https://. Usually this is caused by another plugin. You can test if the redirect is gone by visiting https://yourdomain.com when the plugin is deactivated. If it redirects back to https://, the redirect is still there. If you can visit https://yourdomain.com without being redirected back it’s safe to activate the plugin again.

i actually went to the database and deactivated all plugins and went to the filemanager and deleted the plugin folder hoping that will stop it and get it back running
but as you see still too many redirects and i don’t know what the plugin changed in the database or the files
as i said i’ve been editing the site past 2 weeks and can Not upload a backup
i need your help to reverse the effect of the plugin

The plugin changes your site_url to https, adds a redirect to https, and starts dynamically fixing mixed content. When one of your plugins or your .htaccess forces your site to http, this will result in a loop.

To remove, you should follow the deactivating instructions. In your case the problem probably is that the site_url is still https. If you run the deactivation script, the site_url will be reverted to http.

You can also do a manual uninstall:

i had to install it on different site, copy the files, re-added it to database plugins manually and used the force deactivate from plugin ! managed to get the dashboard but the site is still reading https and not loading

now the reason i installed the plugin was to activate the SSL certificate from SSLforfree
because i have shop / payment and i need Stripe gateway active

    little help… ?

You have a custom redirect from http to https:

    Type in:
    https://www.royalsafari.net/

And you will see it redirects to http. This will cause redirect loops. This is probably in your .htaccess.

I see you use CloudFlare. For CloudFlare I would recommend to read this article:
    https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/ssl-cloudflare-really-simple-ssl/

It covers most issues you might have with CF.

can be the too many redirects because of multiple certificates on the web host ?
i see certificate by Cpanel and the other i installed by SSLforfree

    (@rogierlankhorst)

No, that’s not the problem. Did you check the CloudFlare article and remove the redirect to http?

    Thread Starter Coda

    (@coda7777)

not sure really how to do that! the Domain and cloudflare are under the control of the webhosting
i got full access to Cpanel only

If you have removed the .htaccess redirect to http, and still have issues, I would contact your webhoster about CloudFlare. In my experience a redirect loop with CloudFlare is caused by having CloudFlare incorrectly configured. If you have flexible SSL, try Full SSL, and if you have Full SSL, try flexible SSL.

If you can’t access CF settings, it’s best to contact your hosting company.

    i’m really exhausted….
i got the site up again and been using plugins to change the URLs to HTTPS for the content and been trying to force the site to use HTTPS but so far i’m failing and it’s taking too much time
i need the site to run on HTTPS or at least the checkout page of woocommerce so Stripe plugin work using credit card check out

really simple SSL finally smiled to me ! the site seems running on padlocks now
maybe you can give it a go and test it and check if there is something i need to enhance or edit

    (@rogierlankhorst)

    Glad to hear that.

What did you change to make it work? That might help other users with the same problem.

You have the green lock and a 301 redirect to https. It’s all looking fine.

    (@coda7777)

yea but in my opinion it load slower now! did you have chance to load it and check on that ? i hate when site run slow
anyway i have 3 plugins running on the site
Wordpress HTTPS plugin ( Admin panel and dashboard HTTPS option only )
SSL Insecure content fixer ( for mixed content )
Really Simple SSL for everything in general

the mix worked together…! before the only plugin i tried was really simple ssl which crashed everything and i couldn’t restore DB coz of the changes i done recently
but it would be helpful if you check on site response and speed and give me feedback

thanks a lot of replies and assist
