    Hiya,

I’ve been trying to get Trackserver to play with Osmand on android for a while now with no success. So I downloaded and configured Trackme to see if I was having any server issues but Trackme sent my location and it was displayed on my website very quickly. I just can’t get my head around why it won’t work with Osmand.

Entering this (without question marks of course and the correct key)…

    https://????????.com/track/?lat={0}&lon={1}&timestamp={2}&altitude={4}&speed={5}&bearing={6}&username=admin&key=#####

into the online tracking web address of Osmand, turning on tracking and still my location isn’t displayed. Are you kindly able to offer any suggestions please?

    Thanks in advance

In WordPress, on your Trackserver profile page, the Full URL that Trackserver expects from OsmAnd is listed.

Can you check and confirm that what you entered in OsmAnd matches this URL exactly?

If it does, copy and paste the URL in your browser, and replace the {0}, {1}, etc. placeholders by real data, for example:

    ?lat=45.5&lon=5.5&timestamp=1234567&username=admin&key=#####

(altitude, speed, bearing are not important)

    What happens then?

Trackserver should give you back a message like:
    “OK, track ID = 762, timestamp = 1970-01-01 01:20:34”

    Best regards,
    Martijn.

If that doesn’t work, please send the real URL so I can have a look.

Martijn, your suggestion that the OsmAnd slug was the same as the MapMyTracks slug was correct and that was causing the conflict. I’ve changed the Osmand slug and it’s working fine now. Thanks very much.
