WooCommerce – Digital Downloads (mp3's) unsuccessful on phones (Android) & iPad

    Hello

    I’m running a website selling short mp3’s & m4r’s as ringtones and I’m using WooCommerce v 2.3.7 as the platform to do this:-

    All the products for sale are digital but the downloads fail when trying to use a phone (Android – Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & Galaxy Ace) and on an iPad (ios 8). There seem to be no issues when downloading onto my laptop or iMac.

    At present the File Download Method is “Force Downloads” and I’ve also tried “X-Accel_Redirect/X-Sendfile” but neither of them work. “Redirect only” sort of works but it not ideal.

    I’ve tried doing it again after disabling all the plugins with no joy and even changed the theme to Twenty Twelve but again with no joy.

    The whole point of my site is for people to download digital products to their phones so this is a big deal.

    Here are the server specs:-
    Apache Version 2.2.25
    PHP Version 5.3.27

    Does anybody have any ideas? Could it be the server? Could it be that the PHP version is 5.3? Could it be the fact that the site is https:// rather than https://?

    Any help would be appreciated – I’m going round in circles!

    Hi, I use woocommerce plugin for my apps store site. I want when any one download my apps from my website using woocommerce plugin then my apps only auto install or download there android device, no one can download my product from without android device like ( PC, Noot-Book ).

    Help me how can I do this??

    Has anyone answered this question? I have not been able to find a suitable way to deal with this issue, and to me, it seems like a lot of people would want to know how to do this
