I migrated the site to a new host and everything else seems to be fine including the other EA features, but the EA Advanced Accordion doesn’t seem to work correctly anymore. Basically, it just displays the content as if it’s active, but never closes. When I hover over the tab title, it changes color for hover, but nothing happens when I click it, either in the editor or on the live site.

So far I’ve tried regenerating assets and even disabling and re-enabling it, and regenerating again, but nothing changes. I tried creating a new Accordion with different content and it won’t close either. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Hi @vortecfze ,

Seems like a SSL issue. As your website runs in HTTPS but some of your links doesn’t serve from the HTTPS.

You need to force all your links to HTTPS.

To do this, Go to Elementor->Tools->Replace URL and on the first field enter your site address (with https://) and second field (with https://)

So for your case you need to fill 1st field: https://woodchuckandfa.art
    And second field with: https://woodchuckandfa.art

After that regenerate assets from Elementor and Essential Addons for Elementor.

    Then try again.
Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks

Awesome. You fixed it, but I had to do a tiny bit extra to get it to work.

I’ll write down what I did in case anybody else reading has the same issues.

I did what Abid said and it seemed to make some updates, but the accordion stayed open. However, I noticed this page itself was still insecure, so I went to whynopadlock.com and put in the url for this page and it said it still had some image urls that were http: instead of https: and I needed to fix those.

So I installed the plugin called Better Search Replace and asked it to search for any place where my site url was using http and replace it with https in every table and it worked. The accordion works perfectly now.

    Thanks Abid
