I have seen this thread before, but actually I never was a good coder to be honest.

I tried to add the {inline} tag before the options in admin as you suggested, but it only made things worse.

Before the addition, checkboxes were above the option, and after the addition only the first ch-x is above and the rest of them is at the end of the option line, making the choioce extremely confusing I bet 99.9% orders made through this form would be wrong.

Good the site is in development, so I can polish it…

OK, I am sorry for shouting.

The problem is clearly described in tens of posts before, and its marked as “resolved”, which is not true.

Please provide a clear solution for this problem as it bothers a lot of people using this plugin. I’m not asking for “try editin this [code]". I am asking for clear instruction of what and where to change to repair a bug. It was promised to be solved in the last update, but it was not.

you can also use software called poedit – makes exactly the same as Codestyling localization, but on your computer, not on the server side.

best way is to use plugin called “Codestyling localization”

Hi there, I havent… I just used another theme (Boldy) wchich is by far better than Academica.

OK, changed the theme for a working one, so consider the topic as solved (although the problem of a slideshow in Academic theme isnt solved)

Hmmm… strange it is. I tried administering another theme (Jenks), which contains a slideshow and there was a problem too. As Jenks doesnt offer an option of previewing the slideshow in admin, I was not able to extract a similar error message. The slideshow just didnt show up. Someone told me there is a problem in WP files, not the themes itself. I have tried reinstalling WP (English and Polish versions, few times), but no improvement to patients health was observed whatsoever.

I am looking for another theme at the moment if there is no option to cure the disease with known meds

yes it is. search for sidebar in plugin directory.

And title the thread properly, next time…

I can tell you: install WP somewhere, open few bottles of beer and go to the plugin directory.

All the best ideas of how to exploit the power of WP considering the way you gonna use it you will find there.
