I could be losing it, but I am not seeing anything vaguely close to the code you suggest?

In reply to: All Plugins Disappeared and Won't Install Againgotcha.
so my wordpress is installed on a subdomain.
I go to that subdomain in my File Manager and I see WP-contents.
I click that and I see a folder that says “Plugins.old”
There’s no folder that just says “Plugins”.
So I rename that folder to “Plugins.hold”, then log into wp-admin.php and then return to File Manager and rename folder back to its original “Plugins.old”
Have I done this correctly?
Because Plugins still fail to install?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: How to Edit Password Protected Post MessageMarvie,
I tried this code yesterday, adding it to the bottom of my Theme-Functions.php, and I lost my site.
I had to get back in, through FTP, to delete this code and now I’m back again.
I am using TwentyEleven as my theme.Forum: Fixing WordPress
