supposedly the person that created the theme is working on the new version right now. its the Coffee Desk theme.

I am sticking with the theme, because it really really works well with my idea.

the problem is my theme.

agh! your right, I just switched to the default theme….. They came up fine!..

This isnt the only flaw I have found in my theme, its actually starting to get annoying. If i Just knew Php / html i could fix my problems

ok i think i figured out my problem, but now have another question.

Before I had made the userphoto folder in the proper location, and I had the permissions changed to 777; However, when I uploaded an image, the image permissions werent coming in at 777.

So the simple fix is change the image permissions to 777, and the image shows up.

The question now for me is

( how do i get my images to show up in my comments area?) right now the image that shows up is the standard comment box?

Im not sure if this really helps anyone else out, but this was a mistake by me.
Im using 2.7 and I was able to upload pictures, but the pictures werent showing up.

I changed the settings in the server to be 777 for the folder, and then when the images were being uploaded .. they were being uploaded @ 600.. i went in and adjusted them to 777 .. and now im good.

What im saying, is
I log in to my server, goto userphoto folder, change permissions to 777 for pictures and folder.

Now i just have to figure out how to show the image in the comments area

It sounds like a similar problem, because my gravatar still shows. But im not sure if thats because of the image not showing up on the author page.

my Images dont show anywhere, they just show question marks over all of the Images.

And for the people that have uploaded photos, it just shows the standard comment photo, or gravatar. LIke it doesnt even try to show the question marked picture that I uploaded.

AlL you have to do is follow his steps. He tells you not to replace the code with new code, he simply adds a segment of code underneath of the pages code, which enables you to add a category to your page

he even shows you demo pages!

Im sorry, im new at this. I guess i should have placed this question in the
(sidebar-login) forum its a widget that goes in your side bar to make it easier signing in on your website for authors / and others

When I changed the settings for people to sign up on my website from (subscriber, to contributer)

It worked fine. Luckily my website is all about contributing, and editing anyway.

i had to contact my server service for somethin they had to do..

alkjg no idea what they did, but they fixed the problem

i know this is a long time ago.. But i have searched the internet thoroughly for the same thing. The best thing i am finding is this google gadget

Hey, i deactivated the plug-in and then activated it again.
I then changed it from Subscriber to contributer, and that seems to work fine.

I will continue to make everyone on my site a contributer ( im lucky that my site is all about contributing i guess )

But for other people that have this problem, Subscriber still didnt work.
