That did it..!
Did I miss something in the setup guide?
The first one. Filter ALL WordPress Queries Then the boxes below are all grey with checks in them because that one is checked.
Same thing
What do you mean by savings the permalink. You mean save the page in the editor?
I have the common settings set to “Post Name” for better SEO and also I have Category base set to say Tips
Yes
Yes all this is correct and not draft or private
I am just trying to protect a test page right now. I open up the page in the WP editor. Then I set S2 member page level restriction for that page to say level #1 then go back and test with a logged in subscriber level 0 member and get the 404
Actually I still have the problem of setting an individual page like test-page that requires a higher membership level to gain access and instead of showing the members options page I get the 404 error.
Yes I can change the member role level from 1 to 4. But don’t see a way to set it back to 0. Isn’t that the default free level. Unless I have confused myself somehow.
But
Yes these are correct.
Interesting things is I can go under S2 plugin settings to Restrict Options > URI Restrictions (typical w/buddypress) The set the page path I wanted to restrict like /answers-ajax-2/ and then the members option page will work correctly. But i’m still confused why the single pages restrictions are throwing the 404. Also still not sure how to downgrade a user to (0)
Any ideas here?
