Thanks for the reply t31os_, I just noticed your reply.

Ideally, I’d like a checkbox next to each category.
All the categories that are ‘checked’ would show up, and those that aren’t, are hidden.
I think the best way to store a users preference would be with a cookie.

I’m not sure if that was specific enough, but I do appreciate the response.

I’ve got the same issue. One of my writers has had to post the links for me and then I’ve gotta get the code from youtube/etc and actually paste it in. He was setup as an Author, but someone told us that only ‘contributors’ can post embed codes…tried it, no luck.
Would love to get this figured out.

So…6 months has gone by and I still haven’t figured out a way to let my visitors choose which categories they’d like showing up when they visit.

I’m still really interested in this if anyone has any suggestions.

I hope the title of this isn’t why peeps aren’t checkin it out. Maybe I should have been more specific.

I would think that for those php masters out there, adding a check box next to categories would be fairly easy…but I guess that’s easy to say…hehehe.

Wow..nevermind. I just realized that the Ratings ID number has to match the post number. Guess I skipped that somewhere along the line.

NOpe…I just updated and activated the plugin to test. It breaks my bookmarktify’s ‘more’ link still.

Dang…I just noticed that my Bookmarkify’s ‘More’ link wasn’t working. Found out that it is Google Analytics causing the problem.
I was stoked to find your thread…but I tried your code above and am not getting any results. My ‘more’ function is still ‘broken’.
