    sorry for late answer.

the issue is fixed without doing anything…….
probably other plugins update fixed it?
I just upgrade Yoast SEO, maybe that was the plugin causing the issue?

    well. the visual editor disappears if I turn debugging mode off. It goes back to how it was before adding define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);

I thought that debugging mode was just to test the script.
Is it ok if I let it on all the time? Is this the fix itself?

on the article it is mentioned:

Issue is fixed – turn off script debugging and report the issue on the support forum, telling the volunteers that you turned on script debugging and it solved the problem.

If I turn off script debugging it doesn’t work anymore.

Does it mean that I must let debugging on all the time? The article says otherwise.

I turned on script debugging and it solved the problem.

“Disable the visual editor when writing” wasn’t turned on.
The problem was the same in Opera and Firefox.

I didn’t check java issue since step 2 fixed the problem momentarily.

    What’s next?

Is there a way to find which post created that mess in phpmyadmin? I know it’s a stupid question to ask, but aside phpmyadmin I don’t know what to look at.

No I don’t have a database copy. Only the one online…
I un-installed the plugin right away.

I did all that. I reinstall wordpress after having erased it all and having my host support restore it using the database dump in a new database… Same issue.

the only difference is that now the repeating post isn’t the march 7 one but may 13……. and the march 7 post that was erased long ago is still there……..

We are all clueless about this weird issue.

The only thing I forgot to mention is that my entire netork was migrated to a new server, at the same hosting provider and that issues started back then.

I started the upgrade again manually and I have the same problem. Adsense is not showing on the site while it is in the source code.

i changed my PW because it didn’t work. i thought it might help cause i was getting an error page while trying to login. it got worth after i changed the password as i was getting the blog index page instead of the login page.
i erased everything and started again. by chance i’m updating my blogs with qumana and i have all my posts locally. otherwise i’d have lost everything.
i won’t updade my other blogs as long as i won’t get a better upgrade. it’s too much of a mess. wordpress is a great script, but the upgrade process isn’t good .
i don’t understand why they give wrong indication to upgrade the script . i did what they indicated and that’s how i got in that mess .
