category and tag functionality is avaialable in 2.3.3! post related issues in the new thread

This means that you have disabled ( or already was ) the following option in your php.ini: allow_url_fopen. This directive has been set to Off. This option enables the URL-aware fopen wrappers that enable accessing URL object like files. So obviously you have to turn it on. Go to your php.ini and find “allow_url_fopen”, then set this to On.

Also make sure you clear your cache and update to version 2.3.2

unfortunately the current form of this plugin doesn’t interact with any other tables besides posts and post_meta. In the future I may add the functionality for category presets as well. Thanks for aiding in troubleshoot and contributing to a stable version of the plugin.

I think that issue is beyond the scope of functionality of this plugin, make sure the meta_key exists
