It wasn’t a script for me, I just had to find where to edit the thing: under the banner, where it says “Publish Status”, there’s a place where it says “published on” and it should have a link to “edit” — if you click on that, a dropdown appears where you can edit the date.

Oooh, thanks for having asked the question. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where the “edit comments” went after upgrading. I think perhaps this was streamlined a bit too far; just a tad counter-intuitive, as I’d assumed that the comment “title” (which is the user name on my blog) would mean I’d then email the commenter…and when you have “edit” links everywhere else, you tend to look for them here as well!
