Thanks for the response. Yes, it’s version 2.1.15 and my site automatically updates everything. We do not use any caching as I found that they drastically slowed down my site, and even made it so it wouldn’t load sometimes. I turned off and uninstalled all caching stuff and it got much better. My host is Hostinger and site caching is turned off in my cpanel as well.

I see that the links I originally posted aren’t valid anymore. It doesn’t appear that I can attach files to these posts? I have a couple of screenshots, if you can advise me a way to get them to you?

Thanks for the response. I tried usimng the pre-purchase support area but it wanted info I couldn’t provide, such as purchase # or something like that. I’m investigating a couple of other options, but a paid version of Amelia is still possible. Is there a sales department email I can contact?

I found one yesterday called Amelia, which seems to do all I want but in order to get that functionality I have to pay $60 per year or $189 one time fee. I really can’t afford to do either. Any free, or at least cheaper plugins that have this functionality?

Thanks. I did find a way using a User Meta plugin to make a user registration form that has the data I want to collect, but obviously this is outside of UM. I’m still unclear on whether UM will have actual uses for me as my requirements are fairly simple.

That’s the default add new user form, which as far as I could tell I couldn’t edit to be able to include the custom fields I wanted, which is why I asked my original question. The plugin User Meeta allows me to create a completely custom new user input form, but it doesn’t give me the option to have the password generated unless I’m missing it? And then there’s the question of how to force the user to change their password the first time they log in?

Ok, this obviously creates new questions. I installed the User Meta plugin, which is perfect for creating a user registration form with the info I need. But now I want to know how to have it automatically generate a password? If that can’t be done, my site admins can add one no problem, but I would require users to reset their password on first login. How do I accomplish that?
