Hiding the “continue to website” button doesn’t solve the issue, in fact it just causes another problem which is that there is no way of getting to the rest of the site. I think what madina was looking for, as was I, was a splash page that faded to the main website after a certain number of seconds.

So, unfortunately, I too have found the plugin unuseable. It’s fine for those who want a “continue to website” splash page, though.

I noticed after I posted my message yesterday that this issue shows as resolved. I don’t understand this since there has been no solution posted.

Any help would be appreciated as I am just trying to get a site ready for launch and this issue is preventing that. I may have to find another slideshow if I can’t get this resolved and I don’t really want to do that as I like this one.

I am having the same issue and I have the most recent version of the plugin (1.2.1) and I am using WordPress 3.7.

It all seems a little convoluted and shouldn’t be that hard to find but at least you let me know where to find it.

Thanks for responding but sending me to a closed topic which doesn’t address my problem hasn’t really helped.

I’m not having trouble with the front end so I don’t need to change the theme.
I don’t have any plug-ins to de-activate.
I have the required PHP and MySQL versions.

Everything is working fine except the excerpt section that used to appear below the main text section is no longer there.

I am also awaiting your plugin or Jared’s and have been checking periodically to see if either has become available. Please do pick up development. I’m sure there are a lot more people out there waiting. Thanks in advance.

For anyone who is still having problems with the admin login after clearing cookies, I may have figured out why – I know why I had the problem, anyway. Somehow the site had gotten blocked for cookies in both IE and Firefox and once I cleared the block, I was able to login.
