    Thank you esmi for all your help.

    I tried the below and have lost everything…I cannot even login now.

    define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://your_domain_name/wordpress’);
    define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’your_domain_name/wordpress’);

    So, I removed the code above from config file and ftp’d it back up to site but still nothing.

    Please help!

    I feel your pain…. I logged in…logged out….logged back in….logout…went to login back in and wrong password…now back to get a fresh download…for the seventh time!!!!something is wrong here…I am well into my second day of trying to get this thing installed.

    Thank you for the response, esok.

    I am still having problems getting wordpress to work. I opened another website with my web host provider 1&1 because I read somewhere that ftp overwrites may cause problems. On the old site, I installed and uninstalled three times!

    Anyway, the new download went smoothly. However, after the Success! pop-up giving you the random password everything goes downhill from there. When I attempt to login I receive a password error – I then open my database password field and enter theMD5 hash – after this I attempt to login – with success I might add!

    Here is where I am now – inside wordpress – afraid to get out because I might not get back in. I am publishing posts but unable to see them on the web. I click visit site or view post and get nothing.

    I have checked and re-published the config.php file as well.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you for the response – I am using the Login Trouble link and am having problems with figuring out the md5 hasher. I click on the link that is provided – type the password – hit submit and get nothing. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you,
