Hmm, I figured it out I think.
I removed my content from the loop and added it into the default repeater so that no posts show by default, just a ‘load more’ button.
And then I can auto load the posts (lazy load) and set scroll to false in the shortcode so that the user has to click the ‘load more’ button to load the next set of posts.
I think I’ve sussed it now… Or at least, getting there.
Thanks.
Oh hang on, I see what’s going on.
There are ten posts loaded on the page by default, when I click ‘load more’, it loads the first ten again, then if I click on ‘load more’ again, it loads the next ten.
How can I make the first ‘load-more’ start from page two of posts?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Stealth Publish] Causes menu items to get erasedJust get rid of the extension, the developer clearly abandoned it some time ago and doesn’t care about fixing it. Either that or fix it yourself ??

In reply to: [Email Before Download] Does this only work with CF7?Yes, that’s what I’ve already read – it sounds like it only works with ContactForm7 but it isn’t worded well and not very clear.

In reply to: Menu items being wiped/deleted by itselfNever used that tool before, good call – will give this a try.
We did replicate the site on a sub domain for debugging purposes but I exported the database in phpmyadmin – sure enough, menu items are being deleted randomly (at different times to the live site) as well.
Will give this a go and wait to see if it happens again – thanks for the suggestion.

In reply to: Menu items being wiped/deleted by itselfWe’ve run many WordPress sites on the same server without issue. This also only started happening after 3.8.3 – never once experienced the problem prior even with the same site.
It could well be site specific sure, but it’s just completely random – I’ve no idea how to even debug this. ??

In reply to: Menu items being wiped/deleted by itselfI wonder…
Yesterday evening I restarted my browser and this always has at least 20 tabs open, some of which on the frontend and backend pages of the WordPress site. I’m wondering if this problem is only occurring when the browser tabs relaunch various WP admin URL’s somehow.

In reply to: Menu items being wiped/deleted by itselfOkay so overnight, this just happened again.
So repairing the database didn’t fix the issue…
Anyone able to shed any light on how/why this is happening?

In reply to: Menu items being wiped/deleted by itselfI hadn’t no, I’ve just repaired all the tables now but most tables report that the storage engine doesn’t support repair.
So there was only about 5 tables that were repaired and only one of those is a default WordPress table (wp_posts).
Thanks.
