In reply to: [LH HSTS] This doesn’t make a website HSTS eligibleI mean it didn’t in my case – and probably thousands of other websites that use the www sub-domain.
I never managed to get it to work with your plugin installed despite tons of ‘hacks’ with manual redirects and different WordPress configuration settings.
I did however install another plugin that actually handled it all and when setting the HTST header in
.htaccess
, it passed the preload check. The plugin was JSM’s Force SSL / HTTPS if that’s any use to you.

In reply to: [Surbma | GDPR Proof Cookie Consent & Notice Bar] A few questionsI see it there now but what is really strange is yesterday when I upgraded it, I only had monthly and annually available there. Never mind. Cheers

In reply to: [Surbma | GDPR Proof Cookie Consent & Notice Bar] A few questionsAh sorry, I must have misunderstood it, yes $9.95 per year is much better although will probably get the lifetime license eventually (I could not see an option to get that though). Thanks.

In reply to: [Surbma | GDPR Proof Cookie Consent & Notice Bar] A few questionsOkay, considering upgrading but from what I can gather, after a free trial, this plugin is going to cost $118 per year. Can you confirm?
Do you not offer a life-time license / one-off fee?
I’m not sure there is enough value in the pro features to warrant a cost such as that…

In reply to: [Surbma | GDPR Proof Cookie Consent & Notice Bar] A few questionsSorry, the GTM code was coming from a different plugin ??
3. Great, that would be super.
I was also looking at CookieConsent earlier as a decent implementation (although would rather keep everything relating to this under one plugin)

In reply to: [Surbma | GDPR Proof Cookie Consent & Notice Bar] A few questionsThanks for your reply.
1. But it is already linked up to your GTM container ID is it not?
2. Okay that’s great.
Another question:
3. Is there the ability to not have the cookie notice as a pop-up but instead as a fixed bar at the bottom of the page (for example)?
Thank you
This is ridiculous. We started getting this problem only to find the clients business can no longer be found on the Google Places API.
Have checked the box that says ‘I also server customers at my business address’ and the change is no longer pending but I’m still unable to locate the business on the Google Places API despite no changes being made with the listing in Google My Business/Google Plus.
Wish Google would stop pratting about with everything all the time, this plugin is now useless to us unless the business starts being findable again in the API. :/

In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Gmail API – From name and from email addressIs that the same thing as what I told you? Send mail as?
Yep, that’s what I already have set yes.

In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Gmail API – From name and from email addressThanks for your quick reply.
I still don’t get it the workaround though. I have set an alias in Google Apps and configured Gmail to send as a different email address (which required a name). As part of this, I have proved that I own the address (as it is on the same domain anyway).
Does this workaround not set the ‘From Name’ then or am I missing something? It isn’t great email practice to have a ‘from name’ displayed as ‘admin or ‘system’ which is what I currently have…
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Gmail API – From name and from email addressAh, I didn’t see the ‘make default’ link in Gmail to send as different user. By setting this, email now sends from another address but there is still no from name set. It just displays the from name as the email address.

In reply to: [Reviews Block for Google] No place thumbnailOkay thanks, client upgrade to pro and now we have set the avatar. Thanks
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Reviews Block for Google] No place thumbnailI am using the free version on a clients website and the business avatar is also just a default graphic (map with a red cross over it) from Google.
The Google Places listing does have an avatar set though.
I have viewed the demo video of the pro version of the plugin and the ‘Display Options’ section contains no additional settings than the free version by the looks of it.
Please can you advise how I can get the businesses’ avatar to display?
Thanks in advance.
Just for reference, we’ve just installed this plugin for a client and had to use a server API key as the browser API key did not work.
