That’s great to hear Ben.
I’ve actually already got the table of contents block sticky (using another plugin mind) and this works well, it’s just we’re having to come up with our own jQuery currently to highlight the item in the TOC on page scroll which has proved difficult.
That would be great with this addition natively with the block. Thanks.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Gutenberg block is it planned? When can we expect this plugin to be available via a Gutenberg block so we can easily use a TOC on a per post basis as and when it is needed…?

In reply to: [HTTP Headers] Is this plugin usable if site doesn’t use .htaccess?Okay, I just came across this thread which confirms that this plugin does work well on Nginx.
So I guess my next question is, upon installing and making changes in this plugin, it created a .htaccess file (which is unnecessary on our site).
Where does it configure all of the headers for Nginx exactly please?
I can confirm that the temporary functions.php solution posted above does resolve the issue.
So it’s just a case of making sure that the permanent fix is rolled out to the next stable release of the WooCommerce plugin.
Okay no problem, thanks for letting me know Ben… ??

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Remove h1 in Switch theme@ampforwp in the non-amp theme, we are not inserting an h1 via the theme…
The switch amp theme that you are providing however does.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Remove h1 in Switch themeI don’t want to add or remove it by CSS though – I know how to do that myself.
There shouldn’t be more than one h1 on the page so we want to remove the one that the theme is inserting. Hiding it with CSS just hides it, it will still be there in the source code when a search engine crawls the page.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Support for Jetpack Contact FormThanks for your reply.
Okay, that’s great. Do you have any idea when this may be available? Because currently, the form doesn’t show on the website’s AMP contact us page.
Thanks for your reply.
I selected the option in your plugin to have the ?amp query parameter instead of sub directory /amp.
Happy to provide a URL to you if you can provide an email address I can send to you.
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [LH HSTS] This doesn’t make a website HSTS eligibleSorry for the delay in replying.
I unfortunately don’t have an example for you any longer because the website uses a different plugin now which we got working but in fact (for other reasons), we switched the domain to the non-www version by default too.
If it still of any use for you though, the website in question was factoringsolutions.co.uk.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Only by paymentMy comment was only meant ‘tongue-in-cheek’ and I am sure your plugin does do what you are saying, it just not very clear at all how to do anything without an API key.
I even just visited your ‘supported webhosts’ page that specifically states at the bottom:
With the exception of one.com, EWWW IO will work on every and any webhost using an API key.
Everywhere in the WordPress plugin config, it referred to needing an API key, which links you to a page where everywhere on the page mentions pricing plans.
If your plugin handles the compression of images on your WordPress site for free, your’re doing an excellent job of hiding it…

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Only by paymentDid you even understand the reply? Haha – that sounds as confusing as the plugin labels.
I installed it and couldn’t even work out how to compress any images without buying an API subscription neither. Used to use this and remember it being good, uninstalled it within 5 minutes this time around.

In reply to: [LH HSTS] This doesn’t make a website HSTS eligibleSorry, I don’t think I worded it correctly. Yes, technically, the website is HSTS compliant but because of the WordPress handling of it’s internal www redirect, it just wouldn’t let me submit the domain to the browser preload list. You get what I’m saying though so thanks for looking into it ??
