Hi! Thanks you. I successfully fixed the issue by adding a filter to the excerpt and adding a the shortcode to the end. This is the code in case anyone else needs it:

add_filter('the_excerpt', function ($excerpt) {
    if (! is_home()) {
        return $excerpt;
    }
    $excerpt .= do_shortcode('[shareaholic app="share_buttons" id="ID"]');
    return $excerpt;
});
