It looks like the plugin was just updated a few months ago hopefully it will be around for the long run and i must admit i would donate to a plugin as well designed as this one.

Hi Josh thanks for responding. Yeah i tried a few things like you mentioned. I updating a few of the timeline posts and i also changed the plugin folder permissions to 775 from 755 but i’m still having the same issue when i load the page with the [WPVT] shortcode it just shows “LOADING TIMELINE…”. Does the plugin need anything specific running on the server outside of the basics setup through LAMP to make it work? thanks again for our help.

I just installed the plugin too and i really had high hopes but im also getting the spinning “LOADING TIMELINE…”. the timeline.json file does exist in my plugin folder and everything is writable. Any ideas?

@adlbeat did you then split up the database between different servers or still keep the split up parts on one server? also did you see performance improvements?

I’m having the same exact problem on a Non-Multisite website where the DB is about 4 gigs now with millions of posts and its getting very slow.

So it seems that my theme has a problem with the plugin creating a custom post type (ie question) or at least that’s what i’m guessing because im having similar problems with other plugins that create a custom post type. any suggestions of how to remedy this?

Is there anything in there that could have caused it because it seems that after i implemented this the plugin just possibly pulls the last query i did from the now large buffer pool and gives every URL the same prefix.

Any ideas why the plugin would not be able to identify the correct URL of a custom post? Any suggestions on what to look into?

LOL yeah im definately new to this but thanks Kamal you are always awesome. I placed it into the functions.php for the theme i’m using on fibroid.co but its still a no go.

I tried placing it in my theme CSS but it did not do anything. Is there another place i should put this code?
