Nevermind – its definitely a problem with the theme itself. I don’t have any issue with the plugin when I switch themes!
This is also happening for me – the ellipsis appears regardless of whether the post actually needs to be trimmed or not.
This is very frustrating, because otherwise the plugin works exactly how I want it to!
Four months on, the attribution still doesn’t show up in the photo captions for featured images.
Has anyone managed to find a way to get this to work? I’m sick of having to manually add them in – if I could find another plugin that does what PhotoDropper does as well as it does it, I’d have switched over months ago!

In reply to: [Portfolio Slideshow] slideshow broken after moving site to root directoryNevermind – I got it working. It was a conflict with another script.
Thanks for your fix roi_davidsword! It does indeed add the attribution to the end of the post.
However, I’d prefer the attribution in the photo caption. I have it set to that, but obviously that doesn’t work with your fix. Any ideas on what needs to be changed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m experiencing this problem as well. None of the options for the attribution work with featured images.
Its very frustrating, as I’m having to manually insert the attributions as captions – which is getting to be a real pain!
I hope the developer can fix this soon…
Thanks for getting back to me.
No, I can’t see the videos on your site in IE7 either. I can view other youtube videos (not added via the plugin) in IE7 fine. It only seems to be those added by the plugin that don’t work for me.
Weird, huh? I haven’t been able to figure out what’s causing it either! I’ll test it on a few other computers to see whether I can view the videos work on them or not…
Thanks for getting back to me Michael.
I think the database must have become corrupted, because some of the taxonomy info was missing. I restored a backup, and everything is now working fine. So it wasn’t anything to do with your plugin!
Thank you for making the plugin available – I’ve found it to be very handy indeed! ??
Thanks Marcus.
I ended up doing some digging around Easy Post Types, and found it was using the same datepicker js for its custom date fields. As I’m not using date fields for any of my custom post types, I just disabled it.
The date picker is working fine in EM now ??
Thanks cerupcat – I ended up changing it in the database. But your way is much easier, so I’ll try it if I have the problem again!

In reply to: Images changing to relative links when moved in editorA couple of my clients are also having this problem. Whenever you try to copy/cut and paste any images in the editor, the paths of the pasted images are changed from absolute to relative. The relative paths are leaving out the subdirectory wordpress is installed in, so the images no longer display.
eg absolute path:
https://domain.com/subdirectory/wp-content/uploads/imagename.jpgrelative path that it gets changed to:
../wp-content/uploads/imagename.jpgI can’t figure out what’s going on! It seems to be happening with two client sites on the same server, but another client wordpress site on a different server isn’t doing it. So maybe its a server setting causing the issue?
