I managed to regain access by clearing my htaccess to its default state even though it wasn’t causing redirects, most likely caching plugin related. Panic over at my end

Hey everyone, I just had this issue and it turned out I had an extra blank line in my child theme’s functions.php file after the ?> bracketed section.

Removing the blank line solved this issue for me ?? hope it helps someone

Hello and thank you for the fast response, I contacted my hosting company (InMotion Hosting) and they said there is no caching setup on the server.

I’ve also tested the issue locally and the same issue exists

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a huge surge of users not able to reset there passwords.

I had the same error.. I downloaded the latest version of WordPress and just replaced wp-login.php with the new one problem solved.
