I didn’t mean the same size, but on the same height/level ?? So see as from the header the Page title is on a different height than the blog. I hope you understand what I mean, I will make a picture otherwise of what I mean.

Update: I added a different social media plugin, acurax, and so I could test how it actually looks. As you can see it doesn’t look okay. For some reason they ends up in places where I don’t want them. When I define outline to either left, center or right it also doesn’t work.
I tried every line in the header but none of them work. They won’t go to the right, I want them about the same location as the widgets, only in the header.
Put them now under breadcrumbs on the right, but also that is not good. ??

I changed the size of the font to 40 and put the line height on 32 also, but it didn’t make a difference, it is still not on the same height. I tried both options. There is also a huge gap now between the breadcrumbs and the page title which probably has to do with the social media icons.

It is a little longer now but not all the way from left to right. Like here:

Yes exactly, you can always reset to the actual templates. This is why I made copies from the stylesheets/templates that I changed to my likings and keep that in a folder on my pc, so I can always go back to that and not to the actual Montezuma colors and stuff. It would take me ages to change it all back to what I want, so this is a good option.

About the Footer: I did what you adviced CrouchingBruin, and made a widget with that tip you gave me from the other question I asked (about social media). I added <?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘Widget Area FOOTER’ ); ?>
into the footer.php and yay, that works! I am excited, it’s magic haha. And then I added a text widget to it and put some lines in it et voila, it appeared exactly how I want it to be. So that’s awesome. Thanks a bunch (also to gk)!

Thank you Evandro, I am taking Crouchings advice on this one: I installed Shareaholic and insert the code line into the header.php area where I want them. Then I took a look at the page.php but couldn’t find it there (widget area ONE was present there), what should I look for exactly? First I inserted the code line there as well, but that didn’t give changes and I took it away again.
Then I went to the Widgets in appearance. I can see the new Social widget area there, I can also drag things in there like a picture or a text or something. However not the social media plugins because there is not a special widget for it that I can drag into the social media area.
I have a code for them to insert anywhere, but I have no clue how to add that to this widget. What do I do wrong? I hope my crappy English makes sense.

Hi gk, I made copies of all the pages en stylesheets, so I can change it quickly. Is it really necessary to create a child theme? If I understand you well I can make changes to the footer.php but I am not a programmer, and have no clue about php coding. It really confuses me a lot.

I just noticed that I had a custom CSS from another theme that I used before and that still was in the custom CSS part. It messed up everything. I removed that and all seems to work great now. Sometimes the brain needs a reset too right? Haha.

I now almost changed everything your said before because of the permalinks, but I still get a strange effect on the titles in the widget area. It’s like they are cropped or something. How can I change that?
